Lambert

My name is Amber Lambert. I am the 7th-grade math teacher at Brewton Middle School. I am originally from Frisco City, Alabama, and graduated from Troy State University with a Bachelor’s degree in K-6 Elementary/Collaborative Education in 2001. I obtained a Master's degree in K-6 Elementary/Collaborative Education in May of 2023. I am also certified in Middle School Mathematics and am a STEM certified teacher. My husband of 26 years, Andy Lambert, teaches math at T.R. Miller High School where he also serves as Defensive Coordinator for the Tigers and is the head baseball coach. We have two sons, Mason (23) and Brantson (22). Mason graduated from Coastal Alabama Community College and now attends Troy University, where he serves as a student assistant for the Trojan football team. Brantson graduated from Coastal Alabama Community College and now attends Mississippi State University, where he is majoring in Animal and Dairy Science.

Over the past 19 years, I have had the honor of teaching at Monroeville Junior High School, Excel School, Russellville Elementary School, Haleyville Middle School, and Brewton Elementary School. My teaching experience includes 6th-grade math, 1st grade, 7th-grade math/pre-algebra, 3rd grade, special education, and STEAM. My students are a gift, and I am blessed to be a small part in their journey. I love to watch them grow and learn!

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, art, and photography outside of teaching. I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of Brewton City Schools.
