My name is BreAnna Morris. I have been teaching since 2013, and I have been teaching Life Science at Brewton Middle School since 2015. I am originally from Mobile, AL, but moved to this area in 2010. I have been married to my husband, Lamar, since 2010. We have one daughter, Sadie Claire, that goes to Brewton Elementary. In my free time, I love to be with my family and our two dogs. We enjoy going to the mountains, going on cruises, and just being outside.

Classroom Management Plan
The mission of Brewton Middle School (BMS) is to ensure that Everybody Learns Every Day! Therefore, we advocate for The BMS Way:

Adhere to classroom and school policies, procedures, and expectations.
Be Respectful:

In accordance with The BMS Way, minor infractions (Level I and II of the BCS Student Code of Conduct Handbook) will be addressed in the following manner:
1st Occurrence – Student Warning and/or Teacher Conference with Student
Redirection inclusive of suggestions to promote constructive behavior
2nd Occurrence – Teacher initiated Parent Contact
Contact will be made by phone initially and primarily
3rd Occurrence – Classroom Level Punishment
In accordance with teachers’ classroom rules and procedures
4th Occurrence – Office Referral
The level of infraction and previous referrals will be considered
Disciplinary actions will be assigned based on the Code of Conduct Handbook and local and state regulations. Infractions at Level III and IV of the BCS Student Code of Conduct Handbook and those which cause a major disruption of classroom instruction and normal procedures may result in immediate classroom exclusion and dismissal to school administrators.
