Congratulations to Kylee Walton!
At this year's Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce banquet, Kylee was presented with the Donnie Rotch Excellence in Achievement Award. This award, which was first presented in 2012, is given in honor of former TRM teacher, coach, and principal Donnie Rotch. The award is presented each year to a junior in recognition of superior academic, extracurricular, and civic achievements as well as high moral character.
We are proud of you, Kylee!
Thanks to Coach Lambert and Coach Smith for volunteering to drive buses and to Mrs. Collins, Mrs. Lloyd, Mrs. Crystal, and a couple of parents for volunteering to chaperone. We now have enough adult supervision to take 2 fan buses. In order for students to be eligible to ride the fan bus, they must meet the following criteria:
1. Cannot have a level 2 or higher disciplinary offense.
2. Cannot be on the chronically absent list.
Eligible students need to bring $30 cash–correct change–to the office by 11:00 am on Thursday, February 29 . This price includes your ticket and a pizza lunch. Slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
For everyone who attends, please note the following:
1. BJCC has a clear bag policy
2. BJCC is cashless inside the arena.
The bus will leave school at approximately 11:30. There will be one stop at a rest area on the way to Birmingham. The buses will leave after the game and will make one stop at a rest area on the way home.
