ATTENTION SENIORS AND SENIOR PARENTS:
Please note the following dates and times (these were already sent home with the Seniors on the Senior Agenda)
May 15, 16, 17--Senior Final Exams
May 18--Senior Class Day--Participation is a prerequisite to the graduation ceremony.
8 am--Seniors should report to school wearing their caps and gowns. Please
refer to the Senior Agenda for the attire to be worn under the gowns.
10 am--Senior Class Day Ceremony in the TRM auditorium.
11 am--Seniors walk the halls of TRM for the final time. Seniors will then load
buses and travel as a group to BMS and to BES to walk the halls.
Seniors will be dismissed when we return to campus.
May 26--Graduation Day!!
8 am--Graduating seniors should meet at the Coastal Alabama Community
College auditorium. Seniors MUST attend this practice to participate in
the ceremony this night.
Graduation tickets will be issued at this time. All school fees and fines
must be paid. Report cards will also be distributed.
6:30 pm--Graduates are to be in caps and gowns at Coastal Alabama
Community College and in line for the ceremony. Again, please
refer to the Senior Agenda for the attire to be worn under the gowns.
7 pm-- Graduation ceremony--A ticket is necessary for admission. TRM
will not be selling tickets. Again, all school fees and fines must be paid
before the 11:30 am on this date, or the student will not participate in
the ceremony.
Awards Day for grades 9-11 is Friday, May 12.
The times will be as follows: Freshmen at 9, Sophomores at 10, and Juniors at 11.
T. R. Miller will celebrate College and Career Decision Day on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Seniors are encouraged to wear shirts that represent their chosen college or career for next year.

Playoffs start this Friday, April 21. The Tigers will host West Blocton in a double header with the first game starting at 4 pm. If a third game is necessary, that game will be played on Saturday, April 22 at 1 pm.

Congratulations to the TRM Scholars’ Bowl team. These students won the ASCA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP today for Division III and Class 4A!!! In addition, Jack Ogletree, a junior, won the medal for the highest individual score! It’s GREAT to be a MILLER TIGER!
Congratulations to TRM senior Caleb Ray. Caleb was the region and state winner of the prestigious Bryant-Jordan Student Achievement Award. We are so proud of him! It’s GREAT to be a MILLER TIGER!!
Brewton City Schools will be closed Friday, April 7 for Good Friday. Students will be off from school Monday, April 10 for a Teacher Work Day. Normal schedule will resume Tuesday, April 11.

It is a great day—no, a SUPERIOR day—to be a Miller Tiger!! Just ask our band director, Mr. Cornutt, or any band member. Our band earned superior ratings at MPA today. Academics, Athletics, and ARTS—we can do it all!
Congratulations to Edward Bridges, Anna Beth Hawsey, Herrington Hobbs, Serenity Mitchell, and Belle Walker for being chosen as the nominees for the prestigious Donnie Rotch Excellence in Achievement Award. Named for former TRM Principal, Donnie Rotch, this coveted award recognizes students who excel in the classroom, in extracurricular activities, and in the community.
Tonight, we held a ribbon cutting and dedication for our new softball field. We are grateful to Bob and Candy McMillan and their family for the generous land donation, and the field was dedicated in their honor. The first home game (and the first home win) on the new field followed. It’s GREAT to be a MILLER TIGER!
